Bernard’s career spans Board Level HR management roles, operational management responsibility, management consultancy and training and development consultancy working with clients throughout Europe and the USA.

Prior to joining High Performance Development Bernard’s last appointment was Group Capability Development Director for an international firm of management consultants. Bernard specialises in developing individual and team high performance behaviours, sales and business development, change and project management and organisational effectiveness.

Bernard’s broad management, business and training experience enables him to design and deliver a wide range of management and skills programmes for his clients from entry-level graduates to board level teams. He was educated at the London School of Economics and Salford College of Technology and is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD.

Outside of Bernard’s professional life he is a keen sailor. A former Yacht Club Commodore, a RYA qualified Yacht Master (Ocean) and he has recently successfully completed a World Circumnavigation on his yacht.
