Nick Dawson
Nick is a facilitator, trainer and coach specialising in communications development.
His
previous career was in the Armed Forces where he was responsible for
training, managing and leading teams in many challenging situations. A
qualified facilitator and trainer, he developed staff at the Army Air
Corps Centre at Middle Wallop and managed the Training Department
responsible for the development of 4000 members of the Corps throughout
the world.
Local Government: Regularly
delivering communications skills programmes for all members of
middle/senior management in the organisation. Designed and delivered a
“Strategies for Influencing” programme for 150 senior managers, over an 8
week period as part of their “Leadership Academy”.
Investment Banking: An on-going series of communication programmes delivered either formally to groups or through coaching for Senior Management.
Financial Services:
Delivered both sales training programmes and communication skills
development programmes for Financial Services client selling product
into the Investment Banking Industry. Coached Senior Account Managers in
how to maintain relationships and understand their client, as well as
developing their communication approaches focusing on the client
relationship and increasing sales.
Retail Sector:
Designed and delivered a communications skills programme for a large
national retail outlet for all their 250 store managers. Worked with
Board level Directors developing their marketing pitch to Investors
prior to embarking on new business development.
