Simon Clarke
Simon
commissioned from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst to pursue a
career in the British Army as an Infantry Officer. Simon spent 5 years
serving as a leader and man manager in hostile environments including 7
months in Iraq. As well as directly leading teams Simon has planned and
managed several large scale projects including the media plan for the
evacuation of the Lebannon.
After working in the city for a few
years Simon felt he had to go back to his real passion of training and
seeing people realise their full potential and now works with High
Performance Development.
Heavily involved in training, during
his time in the Army Simon has trained 17 year old new recruits,
civilian professionals joining the Territorial Army and experienced
soldiers attempting to join the Special Forces. He has seen individuals
pushed to the limit of endurance and knows how to press the right
buttons to gain the right result.
Commercial experience combined
with leadership at its purest means Simon is able to provide valuable
insights into how business’s can be improved by simple man management
and leadership techniques ‘Leadership is just plain you’
Simon lives in South West London is a keen rugby player, skier and enjoys trekking and motorcycle track days.
