Tim Tavendar
Tim
has been involved in the Health and Fitness industry for over 10 years,
working for a large chain of Health and Fitness Clubs where he
specialised in the corporate market prior to setting up his own personal
training company in 2000. Based in the South of England the business
has recently evolved to specialise in the Corporate Fitness market.
Throughout his career he has organised wellbeing initiatives within many
blue chip organisations to promote health and wellbeing at work.
Tim’s
extensive portfolio of experience resulted in an invitation to become
the Health and Fitness expert to BBC Radio in the South, and He has also
made appearances on BBC Radio 1. He also writes regularly for a leading
regional newspaper, having had many of his articles published in
magazines or online.
Tim is Advanced Level 3 on the Register of
Exercise Professionals and completed a degree in Sport Science in 1995.
His experience and expertise enables him to deliver truly engaging and
interactive presentations and comprehensive fitness services to
companies.
Embracing new technologies has enabled Tim to provide
a wide range of innovative wellbeing services to maximise employee
participation. He is passionate about the role of health and fitness in
business development, and strongly believes that a fit and healthy
workforce is successful, driven and productive.
Tim plays Hockey
for Fareham in the Southern Premier league and has represented
Hampshire at junior and senior levels. He loves tennis, skiing and
travel and has recently developed an interest in photography. He has
also begun to learn Italian.
